Curated Experiences

Not packages.

Journeys.

We offer five ways to meet Kenya's land across ecosystems that are nothing alike, led by guides who know each one as intimately as their own families.

All journeys are led by our Maasai and Samburu guides, held in camps that have earned their place in the landscape, and shaped around the pace the ecosystem dictates — not the schedule.

The Migration Witness

RegionMaasai Mara
Duration7 days
SeasonJuly – October
GroupMax 6

Every year, 1.5 million wildebeest make a decision that has no apparent logic and no certain outcome. They cross the Mara River. Crocodiles wait. The opposite bank is steep and slick. Many will not make it. And yet they come — driven by something older than fear.

This journey places you beside the river in stillness as the world's greatest wildlife movement unfolds. We choose one place, read the signs with our guides, and wait in the way the land has always rewarded.

Footprints & Fire

RegionMaasai Mara
Duration5 days
SeasonYear-round
GroupMax 4

The ground is a library. A lion passed three hours ago — readable in the depth of the print, the way the grass bent, the dew still clinging to displaced soil. Our trackers have been reading this text their whole lives.

Footprints & Fire is our walking journey. You move through the bush on foot, slowly, in the company of guides with a profound relationship to every part of the landscape. Evenings end around a fire whose light you've been seeing all day.

Our exclusive-use mobile camp arrives before you and leaves no trace when it goes. No shared sightings, no timetables, no other voices but the land's.

Laikipia · Northern Kenya

The Northern Circuit

RegionsLaikipia · Samburu · Lewa · Ol Pejeta
Duration6–9 days
SeasonYear-round
GroupMax 6

The Laikipia Plateau is Kenya's conservation triumph — 800,000 hectares of community and private conservancies harbouring more endangered mammals than any other ecosystem in East Africa. This is not the Mara. It is different, profound, and for many guests ultimately more affecting.

We move through three or four properties — combining Lewa's rhino sanctuaries, Ol Pejeta's world-famous northern white rhinos and chimp sanctuary, the horseback and camel experiences of Ol Jogi or Loisaba, Samburu's Special Five, and optional Mount Kenya trekking.

Lewa Wildlife Conservancy — black and white rhino, Grevy's zebra, horseback safaris
Ol Pejeta — world's last two northern white rhinos, Sweetwaters chimp sanctuary, night drives
Ol Jogi or Loisaba — exclusive horseback and camel safaris, lion tracking
Samburu National Reserve — Special Five: reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich
Optional Mount Kenya trek — Point Lenana (4,985m) via Sirimon or Chogoria route
Conservation levy directed 100% to resident community conservancy families
